HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER ONLINE?

To place an order, all you have to do is click on the icon ‘order’ on the relevant webpage. The article will then be placed in your shopping cart. When you’ve selected all the desired articles, you can simply click on the icon ‘shopping cart’ on the right of the screen. You will find a summary of your selected articles. At this stage, you can always delete articles.

HOW DO I KNOW WHETHER MY ORDER IS DEFINITEY PLACED?

When you’ve followed all steps of the ordering process and have paid, you will receive an email from us with a confirmation of your order.

DELIVERY IN THE NETHERLANDS

We send your Velvet Matters order free of charge. All orders are delivered via PostNL by registered* post. This courier service delivers at your home.

– Velvet matters aims to send your order to the given address within one- three working days after we have received your payment and subject to the availability of the ordered articles. Delivered packages will require your signature as they are sent by registered mail.
– An email will be sent to you once your order has been dispatched, including a tracking number of your package and instructions on how to track your order online.
– If you wish to have delivered your package on another address than on the invoice, you can fill in another address at ‘delivery address’.
– PostNL will deliver the package usually within 1-2 working days after the shipping date. It will offer the package twice. If you then are unable to take receipt of your package personally, instructions will be left at the delivery address and your order can be picked up at the nearest Post office. The Post office will keep the package for three weeks.
* We choose for registered post because the content is then insured for loss or damage.

Although we take great care in sending our orders, the possibility can exist that orders will not be delivered, or will be delivered incomplete. Once you have received an incomplete order, we kindly request to contact us within 7 days after receiving your order.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

We deliver worldwide free of charge.
All orders placed on www.velvetmatters.com are dispatched from the Netherlands and will be delivered by courier service PostNL by registered post.

Please note:

All products are sold on a Delivery Duty unpaid basis, so please be aware that recipients outside the EU may have to pay import duty or other taxes. Our local delivery partners may also charge fees for processing the import duties. Please consider costs that may be applicable on arrival into the country, as we can’t be held responsible for these charges.
